Nathan M. Pierce

Nathan M. Pierce, Founder, Park Avenue Finance was formerly the Executive Director, Co-Head of the fixed income capital solutions team at Morgan Stanley (2010-2016). Mr. Pierce is an expert in structuring and designing complex financial innovation and hybrid capital instruments, advising on accounting, tax, legal and regulatory solutions for strategic assignments. Furthermore, he has designed 17+ first-generation innovative financial products and bespoke transactions which collectively released $3.6 billion+ of trapped value. He currently delivers proprietary financial innovation across multiple complex disciplines designed to produce or capture quantifiable risk-adjusted arbitrage profits.

Mr. Pierce holds a BA, Honors Argumentation (cum laude) University of Utah, a JD/MBA from New York University School of Law and Stern School of Business. He is admitted to the State Bars of NY, MA, the SDNY and the Federal Circuit.

Dail St. Claire

Dail St. Claire has over 25 years of experience as President, Chief Operating Officer, Investor and Financial Consultant. In the last 20 years, Ms. St. Claire launched two private equity funds, one private debt fund as well as launched and managed two SEC-registered investment advisors and AAA-rated money market mutual funds.  She seeded each strategy with institutional investor assets growing total AUM to $4 billion. Experienced in arranging debt and equity financing for company acquisitions, Ms. St. Claire arranged the 2017 debt financing for the acquisition of a $200 billion AUA RIA/Broker Dealer. She also served as Senior Equity Analyst for New York City’s Comptroller’s Office overseeing the pension fund’s $25 billion global equity portfolio, affordable housing portfolio and internal liquidity portfolios. Ms. St. Claire serves as Director & Chairman of the Finance Committee for Episcopal Church Foundation, and also a member of The Economic Club of New York and 100 Women in Finance.

Ms. St. Claire holds a BA from University of California, San Diego, Revelle College and a MA in Public Policy with a concentration in Business from University of Chicago, Harris School.

Dawn M. Palo

Global Head of Strategy

Dawn M. Palo is the Park Avenue Finance Global Head of Strategy. She has more than 25 years of experience in business development, fixed income and equity derivatives trading, liquid and structured product institutional sales, regulatory compliance and risk management. Most recently, Ms. Palo served as Chief Operating Officer of Kalyx Development Inc., a specialty REIT. Prior to Kalyx Development, Ms. Palo served as Managing Director, Director and Vice President in institutional fixed income sales and trading for BNP Paribas, Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, and Goldman Sachs where she led teams in global business development, capital deployment, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Palo holds a BS in Finance from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Palo is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds several US public securities markets licenses and registrations.

Jared T. Olson

Deputy General Counsel

Jared T. Olson is an intellectual property attorney with over twelve years of experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) patent applications. Prior to joining Park Avenue Finance, Mr. Olson was a partner at an intellectual property law firm operating in the Midwest and Northeastern United States and has experience relating to many highly technical fields, including computer hardware and software, telecommunication networks and devices, device communication standards and protocols, virtual machines and network functions, and neural network and machine learning systems. Mr. Olson has advised clients regarding patent portfolio and patent landscape analyses and has provided patent valuation, monetization, and evidence-of-use (EoU) opinions. Additionally, Mr. Olson has experience developing and implementing intellectual property acquisition strategies for diverse clientele, ranging from small startup companies to Fortune 100 companies, in addition to law firms in many different countries.

Mr. Olson earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formally Franklin Pierce Law Center) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems, from Brigham Young University. Additionally, he is admitted to practice law in Commonwealth of Virginia and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
